Mission: To raise funding that will assist in HIV/AIDS awareness and educational outreach, and to provide a safe place for testing, counseling and a diverse scope of assistance.
Our World AIDS Day Candlelight Vigil will take place at Cisterna Park, 5:30pm - 7:30pm.
Guest speakers include:
Kari Steffen - women's advocate on outreach and education. She will also be presenting a square for the National AIDS Quilt.
Danny Hedges - ARCare representative discussing his personal story, awareness and statistics.
Joshua Odom - local outreach coordinator discussing how to support our local community, outreach programs and ways to donate.

This is our inaugural Candlelight Vigil to remember those lost and to celebrate those living with HIV/AIDS.
Donations will be accepted.
Dress warmly.
Family-friendly (except drag show)
Proceeds go to Pathways to Freedom (the HIV/AIDS outreach portion of the River Valley Equality Center).
HIV testing will be provided at Riverfront Inn by ARCare of Fort Smith from 5pm-9pm. Free and confidential; when you arrive, a volunteer will direct you to the testing site.
Events following the Vigil:
Dinner: 8pm - 10pm at R. Landry's. They will be donating a percentage of sales during those times.
Benefit drag show at Kinkead's, 10pm-2am. $5 cover. Percentage of door cover and all tips will be donated. Entertainment includes: host Stefanie Paige, Cassandra Reality, Nicki Savage, Missy Klein, Charnay Cassadine and a few surprise guests. 21 and up to enter.
